About Us

The SevenAges™ Tolstraat 75 Guesthouse is an initiative of The Amsterdam Guesthouse Foundation (“Stichting Logeerhuizen Amsterdam”), Markant, Cordaan, and SevenAges™. It is based on our own personal experience as informal care givers (for our own families or friends), delivering meals during COVID, as volunteer coordinators and as social entrepreneurs, and from a strong belief that with global aging increasing at a rapid pace, there is an urgent need for better solutions for seniors, people in need of care and people with physical or mental disabilities who live at home but occasionally need a place to stay, or to spend some time at.

Our Mission

With our SevenAges™ Guesthouses we aim to provide a safe and pleasant space, with supervision and assistance, for local as well as visitors to temporarily call home. A SevenAges™ Guesthouse is a place where our guests can stay during the day, in the evening, on weekends and at night, when they temporarily need a place to stay, to relieve their informal caregivers, or simply to get away from it all.

SevenAges™ Guesthouses provide the kind of care you normally receive from your family, friends and neighbors. You can eat, drink and sleep in the Guesthouse. We offer a cozy, safe and secure place to stay, with the kind of hospitality you would expect at a a good hotel. Luxury, hospitality, and care with a human side. Those are the SevenAges mottos.

As a SevenAges™ Guesthouse, Tolstraat 75 also wants to be a good neighbour. By opening up activities in the Guesthouse to our neighbourhood and collaborating with locals and local organizations, we build and maintain strong connections in and with the neighbourhood, be it the shop or restaurant around the corner, the local school, or the person living next door. We want to be a connector, across different groups and parts of the population, and different sectors in our local and global society, and we want everyone to know they can always drop in for a cup of coffee, a bite to eat, or a chat.
